Welcome back to the Wealthy Affiliate Review 2019 30 Post Challenge. In today’s video, I discuss the importance of waiting 3 to 4 months before you apply to the Amazon Associates program.
The reason where you don’t want to apply to this program right away is because you’re actually given a six month deadline to make three sales.
While some may think this is possible to do within a six-month time range, you’d be shocked by how fast six months goes by.
While it is very possible to make sales within six months or less using Wealthy Affiliate, you have to stay mindful of how Google’s search algorithm works.
In order for the majority of your articles to end up on the first page of Google, your domain and website need to age.
The older the domain and website, the more trust Google will have. And when Google starts to trust your site, you will be handsomely rewarded. As you can clearly see, there is no wealthy affiliate scam.
When you engage with this program you need to see it as a passive income stream and not a get-rich-quick scheme. It may take some time to build up but the best part about it is once you’ve done the work, you’ll continue to receive perennial profits.
If you plan on using other traffic methods like social media or you get lucky enough to find keywords that no one is targeting, then there’s a chance you can make sales in a shorter period of time.
However, based off what I’ve seen in WA’s platform, I strongly suggest you play it safe, and apply to other affiliate programs which have an extended deadline for making sales or no deadline at all.
Some of the members who started off with Amazon Associates unfortunately were not aware of Amazon’s policies so I’m sharing this information to ensure you don’t make the same mistake.
Something else but I usually like to mention is the fact that I’ve done other videos on this program which I encourage people to review in case they have pertinent questions:
